Additionally to my last post on how to combat blog burnout, I thought I’d share some more tips on recharging your creativity today.
Allow yourself to have fun! Forget everything you’ve learned, all the tips and tricks and analytics. Just sit back and create something just for the sake of it.
Talk with people in your field.
Sometimes it helps to talk to followers and mutual bloggers. We’re in the same community and should be open to having conversations not only with our readers but fellow bloggers. Maybe that even sparks some inspiration, maybe it’ll be the start of a great collaborative friendship.
Revisit past ideas.
Milk the content-cow. If you don’t know what I’m talking about here: Revisit posts that did particularly well or that have left you proud, then try to write new posts surrounding the same topic or even update it.
Update your social media, reply to comments on your blog, comment on other blogs, connect with other bloggers, pin some of your recent posts onto Pinterest, browse through Instagram for new people to follow, organise your emails in folders, go over your blog layout and make some minor tweaks, tidy your desk, clean up your computer and its files, …
What are your tips?
